Our mission as Stick & Move is to entertain, educate, and inspire humanity through innovative artistry. As Stick & Move, we are working to be a major force in revolutionizing Hip-hop dance and its perception by the masses by bringing it to the forefront as a headlining act.
Who We Are
From the school desk chairs to studio hardwood floors to the performance stage and now, Lights- Camera- Action! We bring you BET’S (Black Entertainment Television) 2005 Spring-Bling National Dance Champions!
Coming from the South-Side of Chicago, this unique blend of elite dancers are multi-faceted, with choreography, break-dancing, martial arts, and acrobatics being the crews’ specialty and mastery. Not to mention the other slue of talents and education that are always ready to be revealed “on-the-spot.” Their time shared together has definitely molded and developed a chemistry that is unparalleled to other dance groups, yet redefining the standards of the dance world surrounding them.
These Seasoned Veterans entertain while maintaining, amazing, and captivating massive crowds of supportive fans. Giving such mind-blowing performances, recognition has provoked much support by high profile performance artists, actors, and athletes. Not to mention the numerous televised commercials, music videos, award shows, opening acts, dance competitions, street performances, festivals, and performances with today’s leading artists: Kanye West, Common, Red Man, KRS-ONE, R-Kelly, Psycho Drama, Malik Yusef, and Corey, the harmonious assortment continues to maintain humility. Stick & Move was also featured during half time of the 2005 NBA Celebrity All-Star Basketball game at the United Center in Chicago.
